Tipatask 0.9.19 Lets Agents Work Longer and Projects Travel Further
Tipatask 0.9.19 makes whole projects portable. A new export option packs a project's knowledge base and all open tasks, with their sprints, tags and statuses, into a single zip archive. Importing it creates a fresh project through a short wizard that asks for a name, folder and agents. Files already in the chosen folder are kept, and if an import fails partway, the incomplete project is removed so you can simply try again.
Much of the release lets agents keep going with less hand-holding. Claude, Codex and Pi tasks can now change permission mode from the terminal header mid-run, such as moving from Plan to Auto, and the switch applies once the agent confirms it. Tasks running in Bypass can opt into a new cowboy-coding setting: when one finishes, the app starts dependent tasks, or the next open task in the sprint, using the same agent and model. The default limit on simultaneous agent sessions is also far higher and now scales with your hardware.
Dictation gains a Thank You mode. You speak freely, say "thank you" to finish, and get one cleaned-up transcript without filler words or false starts. The recording widget now shows a timer, a live waveform and a Stop button.
Reliability improves as well. Task and project chats no longer get stuck waiting on an agent, failed turns always end visibly, and Codex chats recover from capacity errors. On macOS, the app asks for key permissions at first launch so agents no longer stall on system prompts mid-task.
